I really love the colors and how the trees pop out. The controlling system works smoothly. I wish there are AIs I can shoot and sometimes after I Restarted, I started to automatically turn left... But overall nice Work!
I love the colors that you used with this! I think that they really do a good job of representing the colors used in the game but with your own personal tastes, which is cool. I also really enjoy the sort of scrolling feeling of the controls. I think something I would pay more attention to, if you were to remake this, would be making sure that the trees despawn from the earlier playthrough when the player restarts. I ran into a few issues here, getting perpetually caught in a tree when trying to play. Along with what Jordan said, I also think it would be nice to see the player.
I am slightly disappointed that pressing 'T' did not result in an apocalyptic eruption of tears but, that aside, the environmental design of 3D Deathchase was really well recreated here (this is coming from someone who couldn't get it to work properly, so I'm genuinely impressed). I particularly appreciate that you went for a unique cotton candy color palette. My only true complaint is more of a curiosity - the player sprite is hardly visible in the game itself, and I'm wondering whether you may have input the wrong aspect ratio during submission. Otherwise, I genuinely believe this is pretty cool. Nice job!
